Well, not really - it’s still broken

See that grey piece of material stuck in the needle? That’s my pincushion from the pincushion challenge. I can’t get the needle up in order to get the material out, no matter what I try.

But I finally got out the phone book and called a repair shop - the only one listed in the book! They are only open until 5PM and I wasn’t able to get to it today. Hopefully tomorrow - and hopefully it won’t be very costly. I was - still am! - hoping to make the kids halloween costumes and we really don’t have much time left.

I haven’t been around for ages!

Well I have a couple of great excuses - first, my class I’m taking this semester is keeping me way busier then I imagined! I have started crocheting a poncho for my daughter - and of course today I got to the spot that needs the yarn I didn’t buy because the store was out when I went. Bummer.

And second - my sewing machine is broken! I figured I would quickly sew an edge and a half before stuffing my pincushion for the pincushion challenge. About halfway through one edge, it locked up. I can’t even get the needle to move up far enough to get my material out! I am so bummed about it - I need to find a place to get it fixed.

But I have been making cards and I did take a picture of the sewing machine. At least I can laugh at that later right? LOL
