They didn’t speak when Buck dropped Aaron off at his house. They didn’t speak after Buck drove back to the family farm, sat at the kitchen table, and waited for his younger son to come home. He waited for a long time.

From Indian Killer by Sherman Alexie. This was the book on top of the pile that is my “to read” list – the pile is hanging out on the ledge by the stairs next to the bedroom. So really, the pile should be on my nightstand if it’s made it to the ledge. LOL

I played I love reading so this meme was right up my alley! I’m at work right now, and the book I used was lying right next to me on my desk! With the hours I work, I get a lot of reading in (when I’m not doing paperwork or blogging! LOL) Thanks for this Meme
