Finding Pincushion Material

Last week I went through my baby clothes and put away what I wanted to save and got out what I wanted to yard sale. I had a yard sale over the weekend but I know it was too hot to even think about winter clothes for the babies!

But I did findĀ  a few things I am debating using for the PinCushion Challenge. I am going for texture right now and am going to add a print at a later time. From left to right: the first is a very soft two layer long sleeved shirt. The red is only stitching on it, which I think s cool. It’s a thicker fabric so I’m not sure how this would work? The second is a sort of quilted pair of pants, they are not very thick and you can feel the little squares, so far I think this is first. LOL

The third is a thermal type onesie outfit. You can also feel the texture of this and I like it more then the blue. Whoops, stepped away from the texture on the fourth red and white one. No texture, just red and white striped.

I think I am leaning toward the grey thermal onesie. Now to look through my fabric for something that would go with it! It is grey so it’s neutral so I could add just about anything, I think.
