Everyone around here is sick. It started off with Jake, then moved to Alice. Then hit me yesterday and Chris today. Cross your fingers that we all get better fast. Other then missing out on a great day today (73 degrees!), we have stuff to do like grocery shopping, sewing (I’m going to start sewing something every day!) and a birthday party this weekend.

Sometimes I want to learn how to knit just so I can make cute socks.

I managed to get all of our Valentine’s Day cards out…..yesterday. I don’t know what was going on with me, but I have been a day behind since last week! But they will hopefully arrive tomorrow so they are not too late.

Thanks to Shannon over at PHAT Mommy Designs! I love it! This was actually my first blog theme I’ve purchased and I think I am addicted now. I know enough of coding to hack the various places on the blog, but not even close to enough to create my own theme.

I started to crochet a blanket for one of my nephews the other day. And I messed up on the first row - but I didn’t realize until I had already completed three rows. I figured eh, that’s not too much I’ll just cut the yarn and start over. I started over yesterday and did two rows before realizing I messed up the first row again.

Today I started and restarted the blanket at least four or five times. I’m not sure what was going on - clearly I shouldn’t have been trying in the first place! But I got it and so far have six rows done.

Of course I misplaced the charger for my camera battery so no pictures until that is found!

I made this card while having a not very creative card making moment. It definitely feels like it is lacking something. I like the spider though.
