So remember when I talked about how great clotheslines are? The next day our dryer died. I rigged up a clothesline upstairs – not even close to being as nice as if I could have outside! – and it’s worked fine for the past couple of weeks. I can hang up a load of clothes [...] I love buying kits for the kids – it makes it so much easier when everything you need is included in one package. Check out this website for science kits, they offer fun toys designed to teach your child science. I have never loved science so I’ve bought kits and things to help me teach [...] When I started making cards a couple of years ago I started out using snail adhesive (an Stampin’ Up product) which is also sold by other places as mono adhesive. I also used double stick tape which for me never seems to want to tear easily. I’m glad I got started with the good stuff [...] Wow, over at Hope Stamps Eternal she has a handful of items up for blog candy for getting to 15,000 hits. That is awesome! There has been a lot of blog candy around the stamping and card making blogs lately – and just today I realized I’ve been blogging here for a year! I’m going [...] I’ve always loved clotheslines. Since leaving home I haven’t been able to have one and I just want one so badly, especially since living in the south! The weather gets so hot, clothes would dry in minutes! One of my complaints about living in the south (at least in my area) is the lack of thrift stores. The only one we have is Goodwill, and there are several, and often there are great finds.
