Fall Table Runner

April 15, 2010 by Tsoniki 3 Comments

Since moving here I have utilized the library to the fullest extent! I love the library system here, I love anywhere that has a great system. Here we live a bit far from any of the libraries, but the bookmobile comes to the parking lot of a convenience store that is just a couple minutes away. I’ve taken to doing general searching on the library’s website – words like “craft” ” quilt” “sewing” and if the book (or title if there isn’t a picture) looks interesting, I’ll request it. This led to finding Patchwork Table Runners.

The best part of a library is that since you aren’t buying a book, you don’t have to debate do I get this book or that, you can just take as many as you want. This has saved a serious amount of money because I love craft books, and since living with my Mom, I really love quilting books and magazines. After just a quick glance through the table runner book, I knew I wanted to buy it. There are no less then five I want to make. I love these fabrics and had them saved for a fall table runner, and it took a bit to come together – mainly because I messed up the bear paw blocks the first time around. But look at how great it is! I really love this alot. On my schedule is to do a handful of table runners for each season.

Very pretty!! I like the idea of having different runners for the seasons. I want to do something like that with placemats.

I love how quick & pretty table runners are, but I never seem to actually use any.

Woudl help if you could see the top of my table first though.
