Friday Felicities

September 14, 2012 by Tsoniki 3 Comments

Joining in with Felicity over at Felicity Quilts for Friday Felicities. The idea is you write down something that made you happy. Simple as that. This is a great thing to join in on since our lives can sometimes feel so jumbled, stressful, full of to-dos, homework, sports, work, and so much more. It’s easy to let the happiness pass us by as we deal with everyday issues.

This week I am happy to watch JW learning new things, or at least showing me that he knows versus keeping it to himself. He can put his sandals on by himself, and recognizes when they are on the wrong foot. He is unbelievably patient in that case. In other cases, his patience is thin, but with his shoes, he sits down and works until he is done.

I am happy excited for the Sewing Summit! I mentioned that I set my alarm to register for classes and did get most of the classes I wanted. I am still checking a couple of times a day to see if anything opens up, but no luck so far. I figure the hands on classes are in smaller spaces so they may not get any space in them and I’m okay with that.

I am into week three for one class and week one for the other. After this semester I will be down to two classes until my undergraduate degree. I am not getting super excited yet, but I am close.

Those are some wonderful felicities! Seeing a little one figure out something that stumps them is fabulous. And you’re going to have so much fun at Sewing Summit! Thanks so much for linking up to the inaugural Friday Felicities Linky!

Congrats on being so close to your undergraduate degree! That’s exciting. My “baby” will be 14 on Saturday…I’ve forgotten what it’s like to have a little one just figuring things out like how to put shoes on. Have fun at the sewing summit.
