A couple of weeks ago we stopped by the craft store and grabbed a couple of Klutz kits. I waver between thinking they are a great deal because they have everything you will need to complete the project and thinking they are expensive. And yes, that’s the coupon loving, clearance shopping part of me talking!
Anyway, we bought the potholder kit and finally opened it up. Alice loves it!
Starting out….
Five rows of weaving and she’s got it!
And this one is done.
She loves it so much she wanted to do more. There is a project in the book that had you make two potholders and then stitch them together to make a purse.

And in other kid accomplishments – Alice learned how to tie her shoes by herself! This was the first day she did it.
I so look forward to doing crafts with Becca like that!!! So far we glue glitter! hehe!

I remember when all Alice wanted to do was cut paper.
She is so proud of learning to tie her shoes! She does it several times a day if possible. 😀

I made one as a kid too – and it sat in my room on a shelf for years because I lost the directions and didn’t know how to finish it! LOL

My daughter loves these kits too. She begged me ti use her beautiful potholders the day she completed them and needless to say I found out they were purely decorative! The price paid for art. 🙂

My boys each have their own loom to weave these on and they love to make them for gifts!
