From a Men’s Shirt to a Ladies Reglan

The more I see my friends sewing and making their own clothes, the more I want to try. Something is holding me back – it is definitely one of my ‘fears’ – I need a Fear Crafting day with Anne! I know that it’s easy – I mean, I’ve been sewing for years, I considering myself a confident advanced sewist, er, I mean quilter. ๐Ÿ™‚ My Mom is coming to visit soon, maybe I’ll finally just do it when it comes to making clothing. Check out this tutorial to convert a men’s shirt into a women’s shirt. Sarah took a shirt she got at Target and remade it.

I haven’t sewn in years. I have the fabric to make curtains for our camper we are refurbishing. It’s curtains for goodness sake! Super easy right? Fabric has become so expensive that I’m afraid to get started. My friend is an avid sewist (you should copyright that lol) and I need to have her down so she smacks me into shape ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh yes – I definitely know what it feels like to be scared to start because it is expensive! You do just have to make yourself do it because otherwise you will end up with a pretty pile of fabric and no curtains! LOL I hope your friend can come to your house and talk you through it!
